Bio
Rowllin Borges is a product of Sporting Clube de Goa’s youth academy. He established himself as a mainstay in the NorthEast United FC set-up after joining them in 2016. The 2018-19 season under Eelco Schattorie saw the midfielder utilised in a more box-to-box role – a switch that unlocked a new dimension to his game. Rowllin was solid as always with his defensive duties but also proved to be a potent goal threat, ending the season with four goals and two assists. After guiding the Highlanders to the semi-finals in 2018-19, Rowllin moved to Mumbai City FC and made 15 appearances, scoring two goals and assisting two more. He was solid in the middle of the park yet again during the 2020-21 season, scoring two and assisting one in 20 appearances for the 2020-21 League Shield and Hero ISL trophy winners.
