A native of Calangute, Pratesh Shirodkar started his youth career at SESA Football Academy in Goa. Subsequently, he signed for Sporting Club de Goa in 2012, a team he remained loyal to till 2016. He signed for Mumbai City FC in Hero ISL 2015 and played 397 minutes, his most in any season of the league. This will be his third straight season for FC Goa, having played for them in 2016 and 2017-18.
