Brandon Fernandes, the FC Goa midfielder, has appeared in the vast majority of the club's Indian Super League games in 2023/2024, making 19 appearances overall and accumulating 1,505 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in 18 of these appearances across their 24 fixtures and entered as a substitute on one occasion. Fernandes last featured in the competition on April 24 for FC Goa versus Mumbai City FC. He netted a goal in that match for his side in their 3-2 loss. In fact, he has currently scored in three successive Indian Super League appearances. The midfielder has netted three Indian Super League goals this campaign, whilst he also ranks joint ninth for Indian Super League assists this season having assisted four goals for his team-mates. He has been booked twice. A first goal of the league season for Fernandes came against Chennaiyin FC in a 4-1 victory on April 14. In the team's next Indian Super League match on April 29, FC Goa - who are in place in the standings on points - face a trip to Mumbai City FC. Last season for FC Goa, Fernandes made 20 Indian Super League appearances, scored three goals and provided three assists. Fernandes moved to FC Goa in July 2017 from Churchill Brothers, for whom he made 15 league appearances in total, scoring three goals.
