The pacey forward initially developed his skills in the football loving village called Vengad in Kannur. After an underwhelming debut season in Hero ISL 2015, where he played nine matches without scoring a goal for Kerala Blasters FC, CK Vineeth turned it around in the 2016 season, scoring five goals and ending as the top Indian goal scorer. He was similarly productive in 2017-18, scoring four times. The 2018-19 season was his last for the Kochi-based club, spending the second half of the season with Chennaiyin FC for the second half of the season. He played 10 matches in the 2019-20 season, this time with Jamshedpur FC and scored one goal. The experienced striker will return to the Hero ISL with SC East Bengal.
