Starting his career with Ajax Cape Town, South Africa, Sameehg played for their youth side for seven seasons before graduating to the senior side and played in the professional South African league. Later he joined Orlando Pirates but his longest stay was with SuperSport United. Sameehg moved to Bidvest Wits in 2014. He has won the Nedbank Cup with SuperSport United, the Telkom Cup with Ajax Cape Town and the MTN 8 Cup with Orlando Pirates. The midfielder has represented South Africa's under-23 and under-20 teams. He was an absolute revelation and one of the brightest sparks for Atletico de Kolkata in Hero ISL 2015. The South-African wide-man provided six assists and scored three goals that season, followed by two goals and four assists last year. Now at Jamshedpur FC, he is a man to watch out for once again this year.
