Edu Bedia rose through the Racing Santander youth ranks and went on to play for them in La Liga. Hero ISL 2017-18 was the midfielder’s first stint in India. He was directly involved in 12 goals during FC Goa’s run to the Hero ISL final in 2018-19. He added one goal and two assists to his tally in Hero ISL 2019-20 as the Gaurs won the League Shield. He was made the club captain for the 2020-21 Hero ISL and after leading the side to the semi-finals, the Spaniard created history in the 2021 AFC Champions League as he scored the Gaurs’ first goal in the competition.
