Bio
Born in Spain, Rocha, popularly known as Valdo, began his career as a youth player for Pozuelo in 1993. ln 2001, he moved to Real Madrid B and subsequently made a few appearances for the senior team. He then went on to play for Osasuna, Espanyol, Malaga, Levante, Atlante in Spain before hopping over to Greece with Asteras Tripoli. He scored six goals for Levante in 2011-12 to help the team qualify for the Europa League for the first time. Valdo also played for Spanish U-21 team and at the age 30, he was called upon by Cape Verdean national team for the 2012 African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Valdo was a part of the 2001-02 UEFA Champions League winning Real Madrid side and made 2 substitute appearances for the Los Blancos in the group stages.
