Songpu Singsit joined SC East Bengal ahead of the 2021-22 Hero ISL from Hero I-League side NEROCA FC where he had a stellar season, becoming the Hero I-League Fans Emerging Player for 2020-21. Singsit scored three goals and had three assists to his name in 14 games for NEROCA FC. Singsit played for Muvanlai Athletics Sports Club before joining NEROCA.
