Hernán, the Mumbai City midfielder, has played in the vast majority of the side's Indian Super League games in 2020/2021, making 19 appearances overall and playing 1,582 minutes. He has started in 18 of these appearances across their 23 fixtures and come on as a substitute on one occasion. The last Indian Super League appearance that Hernán made came on March 13 for Mumbai City versus ATK Mohun Bagan; a game that he played 90 minutes in during a 2-1 success. In total, he has scored two Indian Super League goals this term. He has been shown six yellow cards.It was against Chennaiyin on December 9 when Hernán last scored, netting in a 2-1 win. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 3-0 victory against East Bengal on December 1.Hernán played two Segunda División games last season for Sporting Gijón.
