Hernan is a Spanish footballer who can play as a defensive midfielder or defender. Santana comes with a rich experience, having played in the La Liga and the lower leagues in Spain. He joined Mumbai City FC on loan during the Hero ISL 2021-22 season and was a key player as the Islanders won the double that season. He represented NorthEast United FC the following season and then moved to Chinese club Sichuan Jiuniu before returning to the Hero ISL with FC Goa.
