After joining and coming through the youth setup at Slavia Prague, one of the biggest clubs in Czech football, Eliáš moved to Jablonec 97 in search of regular first-team football. He has since established himself as a valuable player for the first-division side. He, and the club, agonizingly missed out on a first-ever league championship, losing by a point to former employers Slavia Prague. Nevertheless, Eliáš has had a successful spell at the Bohemia-based club.
