Arias spent time at the Sevilla Academy and made three first-team appearances before leaving in 2007. He then helped Real Murcia earn promotion to La Liga. However, his best season for Murcia came in 2008-09 when the club was back in the second division, contributing 10 goals from midfield. He has since played in the Thai Premier League, where he won both league and cup in 2013 with Buriram United.
Arias is a good passer of the ball and has enjoyed stints with Delhi Dynamos FC and NorthEast United FC previously. His third Hero ISL season will see him don FC Pune City’s orange and purple stripes.
