Redeem Tlang had a breakthrough season in the Hero ISL during the 2018-19 campaign as he turned out to be one of the most impressive players for NorthEast United FC during their incredible run to the semi-finals. The winger was one of the few bright spots for the Highlanders in Hero ISL 2019-20, finding the back of the net for them thrice. He joined FC Goa ahead of the 2020-21 Hero season and went on to represent them in the AFC Champions League.
