Bio
The Goa-born winger turned up for FC Goa in the first four editions of the Hero ISL. His impressive performances for the Gaurs in the inaugural Hero ISL season earned him a loan stint with Brazilian side Atlético Paranaense. On his return from Brazil, he was an integral part of the FC Goa side which reached the Hero ISL 2015 final. After making 49 appearances for Goa in the first four seasons, Romeo shifted base to Delhi after the Lions signed him up during the Hero ISL draft. With Lallianzuala Chhangte and Nandhakumar Sekar in fine form in 2018-19, Romeo’s game time was restricted to just 471 minutes over 11 matches as he was used mostly as an impact sub by head coach Josep Gombau. He represented Odisha FC in 2019-20 before returning to the Gaurs in 2021 and was part of their AFC Champions League squad. He joined SC East Bengal ahead of 2021-22 Hero ISL.
