Bio
Debjit Majumder made his professional debut for East Bengal, winning a runner-up medal in the Hero I-League as well as the Federation Cup during 2011-12. Subsequently, he moved to Bhawanipore FC, a team in the second division of the Hero I-League in 2012. He signed for East Bengal's arch-rivals Mohun Bagan AC during the 2014-15 season and with six clean sheets in 14 matches, helped them to the trophy. He made his Hero ISL debut in 2015, playing twice for Mumbai City FC and 15 times for ATK FC in 2016, when they also became Hero ISL champions. His fine performances ensured he was retained by ATK FC. However, after an underwhelming 2017-18 season for ATK FC, Debjit moved back to Mohun Bagan AC and went on to win his second Hero I-League trophy in 2019-20. After an average season with Hero ISL debutants SC East Bengal in 2020-21, he joined two-time champions Chennaiyin FC ahead of the 2021-22 season.
