Bio
Nerijus Valskis started his career in his native country and spent many years at the top level of Lithuanian football, winning several honours. The 2012-13 season saw Valskis at his very best as he scored 27 goals in the A Lyga -- Lithuania's top division while playing for FK Suduva. He has also plied his trade abroad in countries like Belarus, Romania, Poland, Latvia, Thailand and Israel. Before moving to the Hero ISL, he played for Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Ligat ha'Al -- Israeli top division. He made his Hero ISL debut during the 2019-20 season with Chennaiyin FC and went on to score 15 goals and bag six assists in 20 matches. He was awarded the Golden Boot award as Chennaiyin FC were beaten by ATK FC in the final. He joined Jamshedpur FC ahead of Hero ISL 2020-21 but failed to replicate his form from the previous season. The forward made a move to former club Chennaiyin FC in the mid-season transfer window of the 2021-22 season.
