Jamshedpur attacker Nerijus Valskis has taken part in the vast majority of the team's Indian Super League games in 2020/2021, making 18 appearances overall and playing 1,555 minutes. He has started in 17 of these appearances across their 20 fixtures and come on as a substitute on one occasion. Valskis last appeared in an Indian Super League game on February 20, playing 84 minutes for Jamshedpur versus Mumbai City in a 2-0 success. The 33-year-old is ranked joint sixth in the Indian Super League goalscoring charts with a tally of eight goals this season, as well as being the team's top league scorer. He has been shown four yellow cards. It was against Kerala Blasters on January 10 when Valskis last scored, netting with a brace in a 3-2 defeat. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 2-1 loss against Chennaiyin on November 24. In last season's Indian Super League, Valskis featured in 20 games for Chennaiyin, scored 15 goals and provided six assists.
