Born in Caracas, Miku began his football career in Spanish powerhouse Valencia's youth system. Turning professional in 2004 with the Mestalla-side, the striker turned out for a number of Spanish clubs. At the continental level, Miku has represented Celtic in the UEFA Champions League while also playing in the UEFA Europa League for Getafe and Valencia. Before signing for Bengaluru FC, his previous stint in Asia was with Al-Gharafa in the Qatar Stars League. With 15 goals, he was the top scorer for Bengaluru FC in 2017-18.
