Born in southwestern Uruguay, Chaves first caught everyone’s attention playing for the country’s U17 outfit and earned high praise for his performances. The youngster has played for Uruguayan clubs like Club Atlético Peñarol and Juventud de Las Piedras, mostly playing for their youth sides. Still just 21 with a lot of room to grow, the Uruguayan striker represents an exciting prospect for NorthEast in the Hero ISL 2019-20 campaign.
