Bio
Manuel Onwu spent his formative years at Club Atlético Valtierrano and CD Tudelano, with his debut coming for the latter in 2006. Onwu then represented several other Spanish clubs before a brief stint with Georgian outfit, FC Dinamo Tbilisi. He returned to his homeland in 2016, turning out for clubs like Lleida Esportiu, Lorca FC and UCAM Murcia CF. He scored 11 goals for the Universitarios in the 2018-19 season and signed for Bengaluru FC ahead of the Hero ISL 2019-20 season. After making five appearances for the Blues, the Spaniard joined Odisha FC on loan in January, and was a revelation for the side, scoring seven goals in 4 matches. Onwu, however, failed to score a single goal in 18 appearances in Hero ISL 2020-21.
