Attacker Petros Giakoumakis plays for Punjab FC and has appeared in 10 Indian Super League matches in 2024/2025 since joining the club on 9th January 2025, being selected in the starting XI in five of these and being used as a substitute on five occasions. Giakoumakis last featured in a league game on March 10, playing 28 minutes for Punjab FC versus Mohammedan in a 2-2 draw. In total, he has notched one Indian Super League goal this term, and provided two assists. He opened his account for the campaign against Odisha FC on February 10, scoring during a 1-1 draw. Giakoumakis played 30 Super League 2 games last season for Ionikos and scored six goals. Giakoumakis switched to Punjab FC in January 2025 from Makedonikos Neapolis, for whom he made 11 league appearances in total, scoring seven goals.
