Attacker David Williams plays for Perth Glory and has taken part in the vast majority of the side's A-League Men games in 2023/2024, making 20 appearances overall and playing 637 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in three of these appearances across their 22 fixtures and been mostly used as a substitute on 17 occasions. The last A-League Men game that Williams played came on March 31 for Perth Glory against Melbourne Victory; a game that he played 35 minutes in during a 2-1 loss. The attacker has netted four A-League Men goals this season. He has been shown a yellow card once. It was against Adelaide United on February 9 when Williams last scored, netting in a 3-3 draw. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 3-2 victory against Macarthur on December 23. In the team's next A-League Men fixture on April 3, Perth Glory - who are in 10th place in the table on 21 points - face a home match against Sydney. In last season's A-League Men, Williams featured in 18 games for Perth Glory, scored five goals and provided two assists. Williams linked up with Perth Glory in August 2022 from Mohun Bagan Super Giant, for whom he made 37 league appearances in total, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists.
