Perth Glory attacker David Williams was not involved in the club's first Isuzu UTE A-League game in 2025/2026. The last league match that Williams played came on December 27, 2024 for Perth Glory against Macarthur; a meeting that he played 16 minutes in during a 3-0 defeat. Perth Glory next face a trip to Melbourne City in Isuzu UTE A-League action on October 25. Last season for Perth Glory, Williams made six Isuzu UTE A-League appearances and scored one goal. Williams joined Perth Glory in August 2022 from Mohun Bagan Super Giant, for whom he made 37 league appearances in total, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists.
