Mahesh Naorem is an East Bengal FC attacker who has played in the vast majority of the side's Indian Super League games in 2023/2024, making 18 appearances overall and playing 1,506 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in 17 of these appearances across their 19 fixtures and entered as a substitute on one occasion. The last league match that Naorem played came on March 10 for East Bengal FC against Mohun Bagan Super Giant; a game that he played 90 minutes in during a 3-1 defeat. In total, the attacker has scored two Indian Super League goals this term, making him the side's third-top league scorer, and registered two assists. He has been shown six yellow cards. It was versus FC Goa on October 21 when Naorem last scored, netting in a 2-1 defeat. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 2-1 loss against Bengaluru FC on October 4.
