The former SC East Bengal winger, a product of United Punjab FC, moved on a free transfer and joined the Blues in July 2021. Harmanpreet joined Indian Arrows in 2018 and made 14 appearances in the Hero I-League before moving to SC East Bengal ahead of their debut season in the 2020-21 Hero Indian Super League (Hero ISL). He represented the Red and Gold Brigade seven times last season. His father Satnam Singh played for Punjab Police while his uncle turned out for JCT Phagwara, winning the prestigious Durand Cup with them.
