Bio
Born in Nigeria, Bartholomew Ogbeche moved to France to join the youth teams of Paris Saint-Germain. He went on to make his first-team debut at the age of 17. He had brief spells at SC Bastia and FC Metz before leaving France to join Al-Jazira in the Middle East. He also had stints with clubs in Spain, Greece, England and the Netherlands. Ogbeche joined NorthEast United FC before the 2018-19 Hero ISL, and immediately showed his goal-scoring prowess, ending his debut season in India with 12 goals. The ace striker added 15 goals and one assist to his tally with Kerala Blasters FC in Hero ISL 2019-20. After joining Mumbai City FC ahead of 2020-21, Ogbeche scored many crucial goals and helped the team to their maiden Hero ISL trophy. In July 2021, he joined Manuel Marquez’s Hyderabad FC who had narrowly missed out on the semis in the 2020-21 season.
