Matej Poplatnik is a Livingston attacker who has taken part in a strong number of the team's Premiership matches in 2020/2021, making 19 appearances overall and playing 605 minutes. He has started in five of these appearances across their 38 fixtures and been mostly used as a substitute on 14 occasions. Poplatnik last featured in a league game on May 15, playing 69 minutes for Livingston against St. Johnstone in a 0-0 stalemate. This season he has registered two Premiership assists. Last season for Kaposvári Rákóczi, Poplatnik made six NB I appearances. Poplatnik moved to Livingston in July 2020 from Kerala Blasters, for whom he made 16 league appearances in total, scoring four goals.
