Mumbai City FC's Iker Guarrotxena has taken part in six Indian Super League games in 2023/2024 since joining the club on 31st January 2024, being selected in the starting XI in five of these and being used as a substitute on one occasion. Guarrotxena last appeared in the competition on March 2 for Mumbai City FC against Punjab FC. In that game the Spanish player scored twice for his team in their 3-2 success. In total, the attacker has notched three Indian Super League goals this term, and provided two assists. He has been booked twice. A first league goal of the season for Guarrotxena came against East Bengal FC in a 1-0 victory on February 13. Next up in the league for Mumbai City FC - who are top of the table on 44 points - is a home match against Odisha FC on April 8. Last season for FC Goa, Guarrotxena made 20 Indian Super League appearances and scored 11 goals. Prior to linking up with Mumbai City FC in January 2024, Guarrotxena made 10 league appearances in total at Real Murcia, scoring two goals.
