Bio
Fran Sandaza began his youth career with Leganes and Coslada before turning out for CD Toledo. He moved to Valencia’s reserves and after playing for Onda and Pucolis on loan Sandaza headed overseas joining Scottish Premier League side Dundee United in 2008 where he claimed a Scottish FA Cup trophy. After winning the English League One with Brighton and Hove Albion, Sandaza had stints at St. Johnstone and Rangers FC in Scotland. He returned to Spain and featured for CD Lugo and Girona FC before moving to Japan in 2015. After a brief stint with FC Tokyo where he also featured in the AFC Champions League, Sandaza returned to Girona and helped them to La Liga promotion with a runner-up finish in the Segunda Division. He joined Chinese side Qingdao Huanghai in 2018 before joining Alcorcon back home. After a season with Alcorcon, the Spanish forward joined Hero ISL outfit Hyderabad FC ahead of the 2020-21 campaign and scored four goals in his debut season with the club.
