Rahim Ali featured in all three of India’s matches at the 2017 U-17 FIFA World Cup and was a regular starter for Indian Arrows in Hero I-League 2017-18. He was signed by Chennaiyin FC in 2018-19 but was sent back to Indian Arrows on loan. Included in the senior squad for Hero ISL 2019-20, the promising forward played six matches and appeared to gain invaluable experience. He featured more prominently for the first team in Hero ISL 2020-21.
