Rahul KP grabbed plenty of attention in the 2017 Under-17 FIFA World Cup held in India. He moved to Kerala Blasters FC from Indian Arrows before the start of Hero ISL 2019-20 and went on to make eight appearances for them and scored his only goal of the season against Hyderabad FC. Rahul went from strength to strength in the 2020-21 season as he scored three goals in 17 games for the Kochi-based side.
