NorthEast United FC attacker Ibson Melo has appeared in the vast majority of the team's Indian Super League games in 2023/2024, making nine appearances overall and playing 292 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in three of these appearances across their 12 fixtures and been predominantly used in a substitute role on six occasions. The last Indian Super League game that Melo played came on December 24 for NorthEast United FC versus Bengaluru FC; a match that he played 20 minutes in during a 1-1 draw. In total, the attacker has scored one Indian Super League goal in 2023/2024.His opening goal of the campaign came in the 2-1 victory against Jamshedpur FC on October 26.Last season for Khonkaen United, Melo made 25 Thai League 1 appearances, scored four goals and provided one assist.
