Attacker Jason Cummings plays for Central Coast Mariners and has appeared in the vast majority of the side's A-League Men games in 2022/2023, making 28 appearances overall and accumulating 2,312 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in 27 of these appearances across their 29 fixtures and come on as a substitute on one occasion. Cummings last featured in the league on June 3 for Central Coast Mariners versus Melbourne City. In that game he scored a hat-trick and assisted another for his side in their 6-1 victory. In fact, he has now assisted in two successive A-League Men appearances overall. The attacker has netted 20 A-League Men goals this season, which is the second highest tally in the competition in 2022/2023, whilst he also ranks joint third for A-League Men assists this campaign having assisted seven goals for his team-mates. He has been shown a yellow card twice.He opened his account for the A-League Men season against Wellington Phoenix on October 16, scoring during a 2-2 draw.Cummings played 21 A-League Men games last season for Central Coast Mariners, scored 10 goals and provided five assists. Cummings linked up with Central Coast Mariners in January 2022 from Dundee, for whom he made 29 league appearances in total, scoring 11 goals.
