Jamshedpur FC attacker Daniel Chima has appeared in the vast majority of their Indian Super League matches in 2023/2024, making 20 appearances overall and accumulating 1,424 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in 15 of these appearances across their 21 fixtures and been used as a substitute on five occasions. The last Indian Super League appearance that Chima made came on April 9 for Jamshedpur FC against FC Goa; a game that he played 27 minutes in during a 3-2 loss. In total, the attacker has netted six Indian Super League goals this term, making him the team's top league scorer, and chipped in with one assist. He has been booked twice, as well as sent off once. It was versus Punjab FC on February 15 when Chima last scored, netting in a 4-0 win. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 2-1 loss against NorthEast United FC on October 26. Last season for Jamshedpur FC, Chima made 19 Indian Super League appearances, scored five goals and provided two assists. Chima linked up with Jamshedpur FC in January 2022 from East Bengal FC, for whom he made 10 league appearances in total, scoring two goals.
