East Bengal FC attacker Cleiton Silva has appeared in the vast majority of the club's Indian Super League matches in 2023/2024, making 18 appearances overall and accumulating 1,556 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in 17 of these appearances across their 19 fixtures and entered as a substitute on one occasion. Silva last appeared in a competition match on March 10 for East Bengal FC versus Mohun Bagan Super Giant. In that match the Brazilian player created an assist for his club in the team's 3-1 defeat. The attacker has scored seven goals this Indian Super League season, which ranks him joint fifth overall in this category in 2023/2024, while also making him the top league scorer for his side. In addition, he has chipped in with two assists as well - the joint second most for the team. He has been booked five times. It was versus Hyderabad FC on February 17 when Silva last scored, netting in a 1-0 win. His opening goals of the campaign came in the 2-1 victory against Hyderabad FC on September 30, when he scored twice. Next up in the league for East Bengal FC - who are in 10th place in the table on 18 points - is a trip to Kerala Blasters FC on April 3. Last season for East Bengal FC, Silva made 20 Indian Super League appearances, scored 12 goals and provided one assist. Prior to linking up with East Bengal FC in August 2022, Silva made 37 league appearances in total at Bengaluru FC, scoring 16 goals and providing seven assists.
