Bobô, the Sydney attacker, has taken part in the vast majority of their A-League Men games in 2021/2022, making 20 appearances overall and accumulating 586 minutes of playing time. He has been selected in the starting XI in four of these appearances across their 24 fixtures and been mainly used in a substitute role on 16 occasions. The last A-League Men game that Bobô played came on May 7 for Sydney against Melbourne Victory; a game that he played 19 minutes in during a 4-1 defeat. In total, the attacker has scored five A-League Men goals in 2021/2022, making him tied as the club's second-top league scorer. He has been shown one yellow card. It was against Central Coast Mariners on April 9 when Bobô last scored, netting in a 5-0 win. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 2-2 draw against Melbourne Victory on January 25. Bobô played 23 A-League Men games last season for Sydney and scored 12 goals. Before linking up with Sydney in February 2021, Bobô made six league appearances in total at Oeste, scoring one goal.
