Punjab's Sumeet Passi has not taken part in a high proportion of the team's I-League games in 2020/2021, making five appearances overall and accumulating 180 minutes of playing time. He has started in one of these appearances across their 15 fixtures and been mainly used off the bench as a substitute on four occasions. The last I-League match that Passi played came on March 10 for Punjab versus Mohammedan; a game that he played only one minute in during a 3-3 draw. A first league goal of the campaign has so far proved elusive. Passi moved to Punjab in October 2020 from Jamshedpur, for whom he made 28 league appearances in total, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
