Adam Le Fondre, the Sydney attacker, has appeared in the majority of their A-League Men matches in 2022/2023, making 21 appearances overall and accumulating 1,429 minutes of playing time. He has started in 17 of these appearances across their 29 fixtures and entered as a substitute on four occasions. Le Fondre last made an appearance in an A-League Men game on May 19, playing 83 minutes for Sydney against Melbourne City in a 4-0 loss. The 36-year-old is ranked sixth in the A-League Men goalscoring charts with a total of 12 goals this season, as well as being the team's top league scorer. Le Fondre has also provided one assist as well. It was against Melbourne City on May 12 when Le Fondre last scored, netting in a 1-1 draw. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 3-1 victory against Western United on October 16. In last season's A-League Men, Le Fondre appeared in 21 games for Sydney, scored seven goals and provided three assists. Le Fondre rejoined Sydney in May 2021 after a loan spell at Mumbai City, for whom he made 23 league appearances in total, scoring 11 goals and providing one assist.
