Edu Garcia started his youth career with hometown club Real Zaragoza. In 2012, the midfielder moved to CD Ebro. The next year, he signed for SD Ejea before moving back to CD Ebro in 2014 and then to Real Zaragoza in 2016. After previously representing Bengaluru FC during the 2017-18 season, Garcia returned to the Hero ISL for the second half of the 2018-19 season with ATK FC. The Spaniard went on to win the Hero ISL trophy with ATK FC in 2019-20. He then helped ATK Mohun Bagan to the final of the 2020-21 Hero ISL. In July 2021, he joined Hyderabad FC.
