Bio
The 30-year-old Uruguayan striker started his career in the Uruguayan national premier division. Alfaro had a good start to his Hero ISL career, top scoring for NorthEast United FC in 2016 with five goals in 13 matches. His tenacity and opportunism were traits that made him the joint third-highest scorer of 2016. A part of the Stallions South American overhaul last season, Alfaro top scored with nine goals for them in 2017-18. A poacher and the designated penalty expert, seven out of his nine goals were from inside the box. After playing six matches for Pune, Alfaro has switched over to ATK on a loan deal for the 2018-19 season.
