Bio
Ranti Martins Soleye started his football career with his local college team in Agege before moving to Ghana where he continued his development with the Asante Kotoko football academy and later with King Faisal Babes club in the Ghanaian Premier League. In 2004, Martins moved to India and signed for Dempo. The young striker made an instant impact and played a crucial part in the Federation Cup and NFL victories in his first season. Martins maintained a prolific goal scoring record during his eight-year stint with the Goan club and was top scorer in the I-League for three seasons in a row from 2010-11 till 2012/13. Martins won five NFL/I-League titles with Dempo before joining United Sports Club in 2012. Earlier this year, Martins joined Rangdajied United on loan, but was soon scooped up by Kolkata giants East Bengal on a two-year contract.
