León attacker Steven Mendoza has appeared in the vast majority of the club's Liga MX matches in 2024/2025, making 27 appearances overall and accumulating 2,277 minutes of playing time. He has started in 26 of these appearances across their 36 fixtures and been used as a substitute on one occasion. Mendoza last featured in a Liga MX game on May 11, playing 90 minutes for León versus Cruz Azul in a 2-1 loss. In total, he has notched nine Liga MX goals in 2024/2025, making him the team's second-top league scorer, and chipped in with two assists. He has been shown six yellow cards, as well as sent off once. Mendoza was last on target in the league in the 2-1 defeat against Cruz Azul on April 15, netting in the 58th minute. He opened his account for the campaign against Club América on October 5, scoring during a 1-1 draw. In last season's Paulista A1, Mendoza appeared in zero games for Santos. Prior to linking up with León in July 2024, Mendoza made 37 league appearances in total at Santos, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists.
