Attacker Guillermo Fernández plays for NorthEast United FC and has played in the vast majority of their Indian Super League games in 2024/2025, making 19 appearances overall and playing 1,110 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in 12 of these appearances across their 25 fixtures and been used as a substitute on seven occasions. Fernández last appeared in a competition game on March 30, playing 19 minutes for NorthEast United FC against Jamshedpur FC in a 2-0 loss. In total, he has notched five Indian Super League goals in 2024/2025, making him the side's third-top league scorer. It was versus Hyderabad FC on January 29 when Fernández last scored, netting in a 4-1 win. His opening goal of the campaign came in the 3-2 victory against Odisha FC on November 3. In last season's Primera División RFEF, Fernández featured in 32 games for Cultural Leonesa and scored four goals. Fernández linked up with NorthEast United FC in July 2024 from Cultural Leonesa, for whom he made 32 league appearances in total, scoring four goals.
