Ishan Dey began his youth career with Pune FC and continued developing at the FC Pune City academy. At Hyderabad FC, he played for their reserve side besides enjoying a loan stint with FC Bengaluru United. He was promoted to the senior team ahead of Hero ISL 2020-21.
