Bio
Singam Subhash Singh has all the attributes of an ideal striker, he is strong, speedy and skillful. The stocky Manipuri player earned his name with Air-India whom he tried out with at the behest of his cousin and striker Samson. Such was his sharpshooting efficacy that he finished as the second highest scorer among Indian players in the I-League during his second season in 2008-09 with seven goals. While his trip to East Bengal was not as eventful, his three-year stint with Pune FC, initially on loan, was simply sensational as he became one of Derrick Pereira’s prime movers during this period, responsible for seven goals, numerous assists and a tremendous works rate.
Mumbai City FC were quick to retain the fleet-footed forward for Season 2 after he had impressed on his 12 outings last year which saw him bag an assist and a goal (in Mumbai’s 5-0 drubbing of FC Pune City).
