Gustavo dos Santos, a native of Cascavel, Brazil graduated from the Atletico Paranaense youth system in 2014. A promising midfielder who has made two senior appearances, both as a substitute, for Paranaense, the attacking midfielder announced his arrival in grand fashion during last year’s Hero-Indian Super League as a constant driving force in attack for the Dynamos. He made his ISL debut as a right winger in a 0-0 draw against FC Pune City. Gustavo managed his first ISL goal against Chennaiyin FC in a 4-1 home loss. He ended Season 1 as a firm fan favourite for Delhi by managing to find the back of the net 5 times. He pitched in with 2 assists over the course of the league – hence playing a part in nearly half Delhi’s goals that season.
