Jeje Lalpekhlua has been with Chennaiyin FC since 2014 and is the team’s leading goal scorer in the Hero ISL. He ended the 2017-18 season with nine goals to his name, and was the team’s top scorer during their second championship winning campaign. Several injuries saw him endure a disappointing 2018-19 campaign, during which he scored just a single goal in 16 matches. The Mizo Sniper missed the entirety of the 2019-20 season due to an injury and will return to SC East Bengal during the 2020-21 Hero ISL season.
