Jordi Figueras Montel is a Spanish defender who started his youth career in Spain with UE Lleida. He climbed through the ranks and started playing for the senior squad. In 2005, he started playing for Real Madrid’s C side, spending 3 seasons there. In 2008, he moved to Celta Vigo to play for their B side. In 2009, he made it to Celta Vigo’s senior team. In 2010, he had a short run with Russian side Rubin Kazan. He returned to Spain to play for Real Valladolid and was signed by Real Vallecano in 2011. He moved to Belgium with Club Brugge but moved back to Spain with Rayo Vallecano. In 2013, he signed for Real Betis, playing with them for three seasons. The 30-year-old also played for Turkish side Eskisehirspor and German club Karlsruher SC.
