Defender Alex Saji plays for Hyderabad FC and has appeared in the vast majority of their Indian Super League games in 2024/2025, making 21 appearances overall and playing 1,871 minutes. He has been selected in the starting XI in all 21 of these appearances across their 24 fixtures. Saji last made an appearance in a competition game on March 12, playing 90 minutes for Hyderabad FC versus Kerala Blasters FC in a 1-1 draw. He has amassed six yellow cards, as well as sent off once. In last season's Indian Super League, Saji featured in 10 games for Hyderabad FC and created one assist. Saji rejoined Hyderabad FC in June 2023 after a loan spell at NorthEast United FC, for whom he made seven league appearances in total.
