Experienced centre-back Fran Gonzalez began his career with UD Almeria B and went on to play for several other Spanish clubs like, Deportivo B, Real Zaragoza B and Cordoba B. The Spaniard has also enjoyed stints at Cypriot club Ermis Aradippou, Thai club Pattaya United, Polish club Bytovia Bytow and Hong Kong-based club Lee Man. He joined Mohun Bagan AC ahead of the 2019-20 season AND helped them win the Hero I-League trophy. He made his Hero ISL debut with Bengaluru FC during the 2020-21 season.
