Defender Ankit Mukherjee plays for Chennaiyin FC and has taken part in the vast majority of the club's Indian Super League games in 2023/2024, making 19 appearances overall and playing 1,496 minutes. He has started in 17 of these appearances across their 22 fixtures and come on as a substitute on two occasions. Mukherjee last played in the competition on April 9 for Chennaiyin FC versus NorthEast United FC. In that match the Indian player scored a goal for his side in their 2-1 victory. In total, the defender has notched two Indian Super League goals in 2023/2024, and chipped in with one assist. He has been shown four yellow cards, as well as sent off once.
