Bio
Costa Nhamoinesu began his senior career with Zimbabwean side Ama Zulu before joining Masvingo United. He then moved to Poland on loan in 2007 with KS Wisla Ustronianka. His next loan spell saw him join Zaglebie Lubin in 2008, where he spent two seasons. While at Zaglebie Lubin, Costa made 136 appearances, scoring five goals. In 2013, he moved to the Czech Republic to join AC Sparta Prague. In his seven seasons at the club, the imposing defender made over 200 appearances and also captained his side during the club’s UEFA Europa League and Champions League campaigns. He joined Kerala Blasters FC as an experienced centre-back ahead of the 2020-21 season and scored twice in 16 appearances for them.
