Popularly known as ‘Papuia’, Lalhmangaihsanga is a defender who came up through the Aizawl FC youth system. He signed for the Gaurs before the start of 2020-21 season and played in the Hero I-League second division for the Gaurs' reserve side. The youngster was part of FC Goa's senior squad for the Hero ISL 2020-21. During the 2021-22 Hero ISL he made his debut against Mumbai City FC, which ended in a 3-0 defeat for the Gaurs.
